當時為了世界反戰、維護和平所唱，曾被譽為「世界上最動聽的歌」。
我一直深愛這首歌。
去年中，美國時間6月25日Michael去世後（「CNN證實 流行天王麥可傑克森過世」 ），當時正值期末考完的暑假課程開始，正好能有完整的機會再度進行ET FloraBread的「唱出好英文」英語歌曲教學，一方面為了紀念Michael Jackson在歌壇的偉大貢獻，另一方面也因為他的歌曲十分經典傳唱，便教所有國中生們這首歌，也教了另外兩首經典好歌作為紀念Michael Jackson這位一代巨星優秀歌手的方式。
因為教授給國中生們，他們也終於不會只是beat來beat去，後來，國中生們全都很愛他的歌。
尤以這首 「Heal The World」。
全球暖化的溫室效應非常嚴重，全球氣候調節出了狀況，
由以近幾年全球重大天候災情不斷，今年各國也頻頻七級以上強烈大地震，更是令人憂心。
自從1970年發起全球環保運動，今年適逢「Earth Day 世界地球日」屆滿40週年的階段，
在甫進入四月份4月4日的Easter復活節一過，
三個禮拜前再度以「Heal The World」教授兒美中高階班，作為「Earth Day 世界地球日」的宣導，
這首歌非常動人，
不僅要反戰，更要反對任何破壞地球的種種行動、全球一起愛護地球、拯救地球啊！

Flora 小時候收藏的Michael Jackson專輯，盒裝上有污損是因為十年前經歷過921大地震而救回取出的關係。
當時叱吒風雲的「HIStory」專輯，而且還是卡帶時期，
時至今日，不論是卡帶或主角，真的已經都變成「歷史」了。
我想，如此全球傳奇性的歌壇人物，
即使進入歷史，Michael Jackson帶來的影響永遠都會持續存在於歌迷的心中。
後來再度購入雙CD，繼續珍藏。
